Countryside Properties is playing a major and important part in the regeneration of the Northern Way which seeks to transform the North to become an area of exceptional opportunity, combining a world-class economy with a superb quality of life.

We are highly active throughout the North West and are spearheading the regeneration of  East Manchester and Salford where we are working in partnership with Salford City Council to transform Lower Broughton and create a sustainable new community including more than 3,000 mixed-tenure homes.

New Broughton, Salford, Greater Manchester

We are one of a panel of developers chosen by English Partnerships to bring brownfield land back into productive use. The pilot programme is part of the National Brownfield Strategy which aims to bring England's 158,000 acres of brownfield land back into productive use. As a panel member will be able to put forward development ideas for certain brownfield sites in the North.

Regenerating North Staffordshire

We are also one of a panel of lead developers working with RENEW North Staffs which is one of nine Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder projects in the UK. We will over the coming months be working with RENEW its partners and stakeholders, to help regenerate North Staffordshire as part of the West Midlands growth agenda. Indeed, in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent we are already on site developing a mixed-tenure/mixed-use community comprising in excess 420 homes.

The Future

The Group has extensive and valuable land stocks in the North with an organisational structure that is capable of delivering increased volumes. We are skilled and experienced in creating sustainable developments and in particular mixed-use schemes and mixed-tenure estate regeneration.
