At Winwick Park Countryside will be developing an imaginatively designed new community the likes of which have not been seen before in this region.

Charles Meynell, Sales and Marketing Manager for the company, said: "Countryside Properties Plc is one of the country's leading residential and commercial property developers and it has been very successful in establishing communities in the south of England. Now Winwick Park in Warrington is to become the first strategic flagship site for the north of the country reflecting the quality and aspirational values synonymous with Countryside"

As well as grand three-storey Regency style houses that have become the hallmark of the company, Winwick Park will feature houses that have been specially designed to reflect the picturesque architecture of Cheshire villages with features such as half timbering, soft red bricks, decorative tile hanging and colour washed render.

Prices range from £149,950 for a three-bedroom cottage to over £300,000 for a three-storey, five bedroom detached house. Already five reservations have been made. Winwick Park is built on the site of the former Winwick Hospital and is ideally situated for the NorthWest motorway network and access to Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and North Wales.

The company plan to open up the parkland up for use by the local community and will also be retaining a 45 acre 'green belt' of open parkland and mature trees which were formerly enclosed within the hospital's private grounds. The park will be enhanced by an additional 80 semi-mature trees which have been hand picked and imported from Belgium and France. Two new children's play areas also form part of the final plans for the development.
