A development of just ten new homes has been launched by Countryside Properties which are each expected to be sold for between £1.5 million and £3 million.
The five and six bedroom detached houses will create an exclusive gated development in one of the most sought after areas in the South East, located directly opposite Ascot Racecourse and within easy reach of Ascot town centre. Each house has been designed in an elegant Queen Anne architectural style, offering substantial living space of between 3,725sq.ft to 6,215sq.ft, in generous grounds of up to three quarters of an acre.
All of the houses will include separate formal and informal living areas, impressive master bedroom suites and period features such as large hallways, high ceilings, ornate cornicing, marble fittings and galleried oak staircases. Several of the homes will also benefit from an au pair suite on the third floor with its own bathroom and kitchen facilities.
Richard Rawson, Sales and Marketing Director of Countryside Properties' residential division comments, "Demand for character, period family houses in the commuter belt is still very high. The houses at Kingswood Chase match the very best of them in terms of distinction and living space, without the high maintenance that older houses demand. We are expecting to sell these houses quickly as we believe this is the most prestigious development to come onto the market in the region for a number of years and interest in them has been exceptionally high."
Every detail of these houses reflects the luxury and attention to detail of their design. Each house features a video link to the ornate electric gates at the entrance to the development and impressive interiors feature some of the best international names.
The luxury handcrafted kitchens are by Watts & Wright (as used by Gary Rhodes and Rick Stein), and are individually designed with granite worktops and a choice of different woods. The cookers are French and there are US style fridge freezers, Spanish ceramic and stone wall and floor tiles in the kitchens and bathrooms and marble fireplaces from Marble Hill of Twickenham. An unusual additional feature is the built-in Miele espresso coffee machines.
Ascot is famous for its racecourse and is considered to be a most prestigious town in which to live, close to the grand addresses of Wentworth and Sunningdale. The area has an excellent reputation for primary, secondary and international schools in both the private and state sectors. Rich in culture, Royal Berkshire has superb facilities for cinema, art, concerts, festivals and theatre, as well as excellent facilities for shopping and for indoor and outdoor sport and leisure pursuits.
Ascot is in the heart of Royal Berkshire's 'Stockbroker Belt', just 20 miles from central London. It has superb road links to the M3, M4 and M25, providing easy access to both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Trains run frequently into London Waterloo (journey time approx. 45 minutes).
Houses at Kingswood Chase are available through Knight Frank who are looking for offers from £1.5 million to £3 million.
