Over the next few years the market town of Sittingbourne is set to be transformed.  The new Government vision will see the area become 'a dynamic, well-connected and self-supporting town'¹ and includes major investment into the transport infra-structure, new community amenities, better shopping facilities and both residential and mixed-use development.

As such, within five years, the house prices in the area are likely to increase significantly, making Sittingbourne a key area in the South East in which to buy a new property.

Great Easthall, a £150 million new community being created by Countryside Properties in a joint venture with Trenport Investments Ltd, is a 74 acre scheme that includes 18 acres of public open space, and which could potentially provide around 800 new homes.

"The homes at Great Easthall will benefit from all the new facilities which Sittingbourne will soon have to offer, and as such the value of each property should rise substantially over the coming years" says Chris Crook, Subsidiary Managing Director for Countryside Properties.

"With improved rail services to London via the Channel Tunnel Rail Link from 2009 and with the central position of the station in the town centre, transport links will soon be dramatically improved. In addition, a Northern Relief Road, which has recently been named Swale Way will improve access to the A249, and will extend to the South to join the A2."

Greg Macdonald, Chief Executive of Swale Forward, the regeneration partnership for the Swale area, says: "Sittingbourne will enjoy significant investment over the coming years with a major regeneration programme planned for the town centre that will see a transformation in the retail and leisure offer.  This, when combined with the surrounding high quality waterside natural environment, proposed new jobs and homes and improved transport links, will make the town one of the best places in Britain in which to live."

Fenacres is the first phase of development by Countryside Properties at Great Easthall and includes a collection of two bedroom apartments, and two, three and four bedroom houses designed around a village pond.

The homes have all been carefully designed and enjoy spacious layouts and a high level of specification, including contemporary individually designed kitchens with a full range of stainless steel appliances and sleek modern bathrooms with chrome finishing touches.

Great Easthall is situated to the north east of Sittingbourne town centre and has easy access to the A2 and M2.

Prices for the homes at Great Easthall start from £123,500 for a two bedroom apartment, and £155,950 for a two bedroom house.  The show homes and marketing suite are open daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm.  For further information please call 01795 435 497 or visit www.greateasthall.co.uk
