Countryside Properties' In Partnership Division, which specialises in the provision of new and refurbished affordable housing, is pleased to announce that following a successful audit of its Quality Management System from the British Standards Institute (BSI) it has been certified to the new BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Standard in record time.
The BSI normally require a 3 year transition period for companies to transform their procedures from BS EN ISO 9001 to meet the performance evaluation criteria of BS EN ISO 9001:2000. However, the use of Key Performance Indicators and customer feedback procedures over the past 12 months has enabled In Partnership to meet the new standard with immediate effect.
In Partnership have also been recommended for the Environmental Management System BS EN ISO14001:1996 accreditation. Certification is expected later this year.
Richard Reeves, Projects Director, Countryside in Partnership, said: "This award in recognition of our Quality Management System and the recommendation for our Environmental Management System highlights the commitment we have to improving quality, performance and value for money, whilst also forging ahead with innovative and sustainable building methods. Our overriding objective is to deliver excellence in all respects to our partners and maintain our reputation as one of the country's leading affordable housebuilders."
