Three Site Managers working for the Warrington-based developer Countryside Properties have been awarded the National House-Building Council's (NHBC) Pride in the Job 'Quality Award'.

The trio were chosen from 18,000 site managers all over the UK, and will now be put forward for the next stage of the competition.

Each year the NHBC's Pride in the Job awards recognise the UK's top site managers for their leadership, technical expertise, interpretation, safety control and commitment to excellence as a means of raising standards in the housebuilding industry.

Countryside Properties' award-winning Site Managers were: Leighton Frawley, at Carrington Park in Warrington, Don Clegg for Heatley Mere in Lymm, Cheshire, and John Boothman for Ringley Lock in North Manchester.

Andrew Dwyer, Regional Construction Director of Countryside Properties (Northern) commented, "The NHBC's Quality Awards are very much based on team performance, and Site Managers demonstrating good working practices, management skills and team-leadership.

"We are very much aware of the excellent standards that are upheld by all of our staff, both on-site and off-site, and we are delighted that so many of our Site Managers have been officially recognised for their efforts".
