Move in for £99!
Countryside Properties helps first time buyers onto the property ladder
A recent survey¹ has indicated that it now takes first time buyers as long as six years to save up for the deposit required to take their first step onto the property ladder. Over a third of these potential first time buyers want to buy within the next year (2007), but only 5% are confident that they will be able to do so. The average house deposit currently stands at £16, 000, an amount most of these potential first timers simply cannot afford.
Countryside Properties, ever responsive to the needs of its purchasers and the evolving property market, has launched a 'Move in for £99' scheme at Eclipse, its development on Panfield Lane, in Braintree, Essex, to help combat the first time buyer crisis.
Subject to terms and conditions, homebuyers can take advantage of stamp duty paid, deposit paid and legal and survey fees paid on the contemporary two bedroom apartments at Eclipse. This makes a saving of over £10, 000.
Yvonne Hudson-Green, Sales and Marketing Director for Countryside Properties, says: "Over recent years with the rapid increase of house prices and interest rates, it has become increasingly difficult and expensive to get onto the property ladder. Saving money for the deposit, legal fees and stamp duty is the part that many struggle with, and at Eclipse we are taking away this expense. All buyers need to put down before they move in is £99! We now actually only have six apartments remaining under this scheme, so this new initiative is proving extremely successful."
Yvonne continues: "The two bedroom apartments at Eclipse are extremely spacious and offer a high level of specification so I would urge all first time buyers in and around Braintree to move fast before they miss out!"
Eclipse is a collection of 62 homes comprising 38 houses in three different designs, and 24 two bedroom apartments with four layouts to choose from. The homes include contemporary interiors with features such as stainless steel appliances and under pelmet lighting in the kitchen, and striking white sanitaryware by Porcelanosa and Kaldewei in the bathrooms.
Braintree station is a mile from Eclipse, and London Liverpool Street can be reached in just over an hour. The new A120 provides fast and efficient access to Stansted Airport, with London's West End easily reached via the M11 and M25.
