Countryside Properties received two commendations at yesterday's Evening Standard Awards which were held at the Savoy Hotel, London.
Copthorn Homes, part of the Countryside Properties, was highly commended for the design and spaciousness of The Lampeter at Great Notley Garden Village
The Fishing Village at St Mary's Island, Chatham Maritime in Kent, was highly commended by the judges in the Best New Development category. Countryside Maritime is a joint venture between Countryside Properties PLC and the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA).
After the awards ceremony the presenter congratulated Countryside on the innovative design and overall quality of the new housing.
The development of 151 houses and apartments has been designed by Countryside Properties PLC and PCKO Ltd. It features varied rooflines and staggered frontages to reflect the spirit of a traditional Kentish fishing village.
