Georgian style property is in Vogue, according to Countryside Residential, who has been receiving glowing feedback from visitors to its exclusive development of just seven executive Georgian style new homes at Linden Gardens in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Sales and Marketing Director, Richard Rawson explains, "There is currently a strong trend for buying Georgian style houses. Purchasers are drawn to their elegant architecture, understated style and the 'neat street' look of the Georgian era, when houses had a distinct uniformity. As Georgian homes tended to be tall and built over three storeys, we are also falling in line with Mr Prescott's advocation for new homes that are not sprawled out over unnecessarily large plots of land."

He continues, "The houses at Linden Gardens are designed to reflect the classic architecture of the Georgian era and incorporate many features of the grand Georgian terraces and colonnades which are beautifully preserved within Tunbridge Wells."

The 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses at Linden Gardens are set within established mature surroundings and follow four unique house designs, each with its own individuality, yet in a similar style, which creates the uniformity of the Georgian era.

The remaining homes include luxury features such as large rooms with high ceilings, separate areas for formal and informal entertaining, dressing rooms attached to the master bedroom suites and 'Jack and Jill' bathrooms, where two children's bedrooms are interconnected, one from each end of the bathroom.

Some of the homes include a large au pair/granny suites above a double garage, wide stairways, ornate balconies and triple aspect drawing rooms that run the entire length of the house on the first floor.

Royal Tunbridge Wells first came to prominence in the C18th as a refuge for the aristocracy from the rigours of London life. Drawn by the restorative powers of the Chalybeate Spring, they commissioned leading architects to create the buildings, parks and gardens, many of which remain today. Within a short distance of the town there are numerous historical places of interest including Hever and Scotney Castles, Penshurst Place, Chartwell and Sissinghurst Gardens.

Linden Gardens is ideally situated for links to the M25, M20 and M26 and is approximately a 10 minute from the mainline train station which has a direct service to London Bridge (journey time approx. 45 mins.).

Five-bedroom houses are available for sale, priced at £625,000.
