'The Boleyn' is a detached house laid out over three floors providing generous space and the added luxury of separate formal and informal entertaining areas. The house is adapted in such a way that the double aspect, 24'2" x 12'10" drawing room runs the whole depth of the house. It is also situated on the first floor, offering superb views of the surrounding area.

Helen Moore, Sales and Marketing Director of Countryside Residential comments, "The Boleyn is a stunning house and is ideal for those who enjoy entertaining. We located the drawing room on the first floor as it would have been in an authentic Regency townhouse. This offers the purchaser the opportunity to relax in style away from everyday life, which takes place in the family room and kitchen area on the floor below. The formal dining room is on the ground floor, close to the kitchen".

Situated in a 55 acre landscaped setting, Beaulieu Park has rapidly become the most exclusive address in Chelmsford. Countryside Residential has taken care to build the homes in no less than 20 distinctive and different designs, from grand country houses with stone detailing and formal railings, to pretty village homes set behind hedges with stock brickwork and renders in traditional village colours.

Beaulieu Park will incorporate an eight acre local park with lakes, extensive landscaping, traffic calming measures, 'good neighbour covenants', football pitches, a cricket square, all weather floodlit surface and a sports pavilion.

Beaulieu Park was acquired by Henry VIII from Sir Thomas Boleyn in 1517. Henry and his Queen Catherine of Aragon used it as their summer residence, and it is said that it was at Beaulieu Park he first met Sir Thomas' daughter, Anne Boleyn. Here, it is alleged, he fell in love with Anne and courted her, before divorcing Catherine and marrying the ill fated Anne Boleyn. On his first visit, to what was then 'New Hall', he exclaimed "Quel beau lieu", what a beautiful place, and the name Beaulieu was born and it survives to this day.

Facilities nearby include Chelmsford's excellent shopping, schools, sport and recreational facilities as well as the benefits of the surrounding countryside. The nearby A12, A130 and the A414 provide good road networks to local towns and motorways with a regular train service from Chelmsford to Liverpool Street Station, (journey time approx. 40 minutes).

The 'Boleyn' is priced at £380,000. For sales enquiries please telephone: 01245 460 976. Email: nt@cpplc.com or visit the Countryside website: www.countryside-residential.co.uk
