Countryside Properties is creating a unique, luxury 'Arts and Crafts' style house for the top end of the market in the wealthy and leafy town of Beaconsfield. Countryside Properties has only recently started developing in Buckinghamshire and is arriving in style with 'Garrick House', a six-bedroom home set within just under one acre of land.
Garrick House is located on the prestigious Burkes Road, Beaconsfield's most exclusive address, and is surrounded by mature trees and hedging. An orangery located to the rear of the house has extensive windows on three sides that offer views of the private rear garden. A variety of characteristics from the Arts and Crafts Movement have been incorporated into the architecture. These include the substantial oak front door, hand crafted clay roof tiles, impressive gables and mullion windows above the main entrance.
The interior of this magnificent house offers extensive living space over three floors, dominated by a central, double-height hallway. The hall features oak clad beams and columns, while the grand staircase leads up to the galleried landing, at the front of which is a reading area with an oak window seat overlooking the drive and front garden. The six en-suite bedrooms are substantial in size, with an additional self-contained suite over the triple garage, ideal for use as a leisure annex or an au pair's suite.
Chris Crook, Managing Director for Countryside Properties' residential division comments, "We are looking forward to demonstrating our high quality of build and design in this premier part of Buckinghamshire. Garrick House is an exceptional property which will set the standard for future homes that we will be building in the area."
Fixtures and fittings throughout the home reflect the quality of the design and the attention to detail given to each room. The master en-suite is fully tiled in limestone, and all bathrooms feature contemporary sanitaryware from Villeroy and Boch, which is complemented by Hansgrohe showers and taps. The handmade luxury fitted kitchen features coordinating granite worktops, a cooker from Lacanche Cluny and further appliances from Miele and Amana.
Garrick House will be available for occupation in Spring 2003. Subject to the stage of construction, Garrick House can be tailored to specific instructions thereby reflecting the individual style of the purchaser.
Beaconsfield benefits from excellent communications with the M40 approximately one mile away, which links to the M25, giving access to all major motorways across the country. Beaconsfield train station offer direct services to London Marylebone with journey times taking approximately 35 minutes.
