Countryside Properties is pioneering one of the first fully automated Hi-Tec Home Cabling systems at 'Panners Bridge' in Great Notley Garden Village, Braintree, Essex. Brought in from the USA, the new fully automated home 'Information Superhighway' is being implemented by OnQ Technologies as a standard feature in each new home, to enable users to take full advantage of today's home communications revolution.
The new home wiring system allows homeowners to implement and use multiple telephone lines, multiple interconnected computers with separate or shared printers, analogue or digital TV, satellite TV, cable TV, video and audio equipment in any room, baby camera, front door camera, hi-fi/stereo, ISDN line and ADSL cable modems, throughout the home - without having to lift a single carpet or plaster a single wall. As technologies develop, the flexible modular cable installation will allow the household to accommodate future changes or additions without the need for re-wiring.
Helen Moore, Sales and Marketing Director of Countryside Properties' Residential Division, explains, "This technology is ahead of its time in exactly the same way as the first PC's were when they came out, and most people did not believe that they would eventually be dependent on one. However, our research shows that as our dependence on technology continues to grow, these facilities will soon be considered essential in every home, rather than a luxury. For those of us with older houses, it would cost a fortune to install, as the complex cabling system needs to go behind the plaster on the walls. We have installed OnQ Technologies cabling to every Countryside home at Panners Bridge, so the system is there and ready to tap in to as and when our purchasers choose."
Panners Bridge is a charming tree-lined village development in Panners Farm Hamlet, arranged in small groups that follow the gentle contours of its extensive landscaping and the wide open spaces of Great Notley Garden Village.
New homes range from pretty two-bedroom cottages to substantial five-bedroom detached country homes, reminiscent of old manor houses and farmhouses.
Great Notley Garden Village is an inspirational new development by Countryside Properties, incorporating all of the aspects and amenities you would expect to find in a typical English country village that has evolved over many decades. Considerable care is being taken to enhance the existing landscape with wide areas of open space, woodland and a large country park, all linked by a network of footpaths and cycleways.
When it is completed, Great Notley will incorporate 2000 new homes, 180-acres of public open space, including a 100-acre country park and a six-acre village green, a new day nursery, shops, schools, a new doctor's surgery, veterinary surgery, church, village pub and public art, as well as further community and leisure facilities and a 400,000 sq.ft. business park.
Great Notley Garden Village is ideally located, just two miles from Braintree train station with links into London Liverpool Street (journey time approx. one hour). It is directly adjacent to the A120 Braintree bypass with access to the M11, the M25 and Stansted Airport.
New homes at Panners Bridge are available from £158,000 to £260,000.
