Countryside Properties has been shortlisted in the National Business Awards (South East region) in two categories – ‘Employer of the Year’ and ‘Business Improvement Through People’.  We were also Highly Commended in the 'HSE Health and Safety Category'.

The National Business Awards, acknowledged by the Chancellor of the Exchequer as "the UK's business Oscars", have been established to reward and recognise the importance of both national and regional business excellence to the success of 'UK plc'.

The National Business Awards is an independent programme recognising business excellence embracing businesses of all sizes and ages and across all sectors including the public and private sectors. Entrants are judged on specific category criteria underpinned by the programme’s values of success, innovation and ethics.

Sponsored by Orange, the National Business Awards is the first awards programme to engage FTSE100s and blue chip companies with SMEs and new ventures, and was launched in 2001 to celebrate the contribution that our innovative businesses make to the nation.

Programmes are run in five regions in England and Wales (North East, North West, Midlands and East of England, Wales and West Country and South East), and in Scotland (The National Business Awards for Scotland).  The regional winners are then judged on a United Kingdom wide basis to decide the overall winners in each category.

Following presentations to the judges by the shortlisted companies in mid-May, the regional winners will be announced in mid-July.
