Buying a house is now as easy as child's play. Three clicks on a computer screen and the search for the ideal home is over. The launch of an innovative website by Countryside Properties has put purchasing control at the buyers' fingertips. The unique breadth of the site will also ensure that everyone from shareholders to journalists are never more than a few seconds away from the very latest information.
The user-friendly style of this website owes much of its success to Graham Cherry, the Chief Executive of Countryside Properties Plc, who has been involved throughout every stage of the project.
Graham Cherry said:
"I wanted the website to be really user-friendly and to present Countryside to a wide range of audiences in an easily accessible way. The website puts homebuyers, investors, financiers, potential employees, landowners and their agents and journalists in touch with what is happening now and offers them the opportunity to be part of the new future in housebuilding and commercial property development."
By simply selecting the number of bedrooms, the desired location and budget from the New Homes Search page, buyers are provided with a comprehensive list of available properties that match their individual home needs and requirements.
If no properties are available within a requested area, a revolutionary feature of the search facility ensures that a list of the nearest available properties to the buyer's desired location will be provided. This powerful search facility allows personal access to the housing market.
The website includes the last three years' Report and Accounts as well as updating the share-price every 20 minutes. The site also advertises job opportunities, Countryside's current developments and land requirements including relevant contacts within the Countryside Group.
There are also web pages dedicated to the company's latest news, focusing on award winning projects, financial information, group subsidiary activities and the company's background. They cover diverse areas of interest from Group Policies to the company's Ten Year Financial Summary.
A Press Information section includes high resolution photographs of Countryside's developments, homes, community facilites and Directors. All of these can be easily accessed via a keyword search and downloaded to accompany articles and features.
There is also an Information Request Form that allows journalists to register their interest in any area of Countryside's activities, ensuring a quick, direct response from the relevant people to their questions and queries.
Links to a large range of other websites means that the site is very accessible to everybody. Amongst the links available are the websites of the Housebuilders Federation, Hemington Scott, UKPG and CAROL.
