The ceremony, which is widely recognised as the 'Oscars' of the house building industry, was held recently at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London where approximately 1,600 people attended to hear who had been picked as the winners.

Copthorn Homes received the highest accolade when it was awarded 'Housebuilder of the Year 2003', as well as being named the 'Best Medium-Size Housebuilder'. In addition, Countryside Properties won silver prizes in the 'Best Volume Housebuilder' and 'Best Interior Layout' categories, the latter for the Van Der Rohe house at the Vistas in Wychwood Park, Cheshire. Countryside Properties' In Partnership division, together with the Notting Hill Housing Trust, was awarded a bronze accolade for 'Best Partnership Development' for its Edward Woods Estate in Hammersmith.
