One of the North West's key supporters of sport in the community, Countryside Properties has sponsored rising star of rugby's super-league, Stuart Reardon, at Warrington Wolves RLFC.

The award-winning developer is to sponsor Wolves' talented three-quarter, 24 year old Stuart Reardon, whose highpoints already include playing for top super-league sides Bradford Bulls and Salford Reds, and for both Great Britain in the Tri-Nations Series, and England in the European Nations Cup.

The deal was signed following the launch of the Warrington-based developers' new residential scheme, Carrington Park, which lies close to The Wolves' Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington.

The new development is situated on the site of the former Carrington Wire/Rylands factory which, when complete, will include a residential area encompassing traditional style houses, a low-rise apartment complex, a children's play area and large open public spaces and gardens.  The development will also feature a small business park for light industrial (business) premises.

Countryside Properties is a major supporter of participation in sport at every level, from grass roots level to some of the UK's most high profile sports teams, in an effort to invest in the communities in which it is developing new homes.

Recent sponsorships include the Triathlon World Cup, held at Salford Quays, close to Countryside's NV Buildings apartment complex, events for Premier clubs Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers, a shirt sponsorship for First Division Port Vale FC and a three season sponsorship of amateur side Rochdale Mayfield RLFC.

Michaela Lancaster, Sales Director of Countryside Properties (Northern) commented, "We are firmly committed to engaging with the local community as part of the process of property development, and we feel that sport is a great way to become involved as it touches so many people's lives.

"Our residential development Carrington Park off Battersby Lane in Warrington gives us an excellent opportunity to support Warrington Wolves, our local rugby league team.  We are absolutely delighted to play a part in the club's future successes and to be a part of Warrington's lively sporting culture."
