Warrington-based property developer Countryside Properties has announced that will be a new sponsor of Port Vale FC.

Port Vale, which saw a major cash boost in February with pop-star Robbie Williams investing £240,000 to become a significant shareholder, will receive a sponsorship deal with Countryside Properties.

Countryside Properties, signed the deal following its first venture into Staffordshire, with the creation of an exciting new property development called Sadlers Park in Burslem.

The new development will be located on the site of the Sadlers Teapot factory in Burslem's Town Centre, and will consist of a stunning new residential development of new houses and apartments, newly-created public open spaces, and either offices or retail units on the site.

Michaela Lancaster, Sales Director of Countryside Properties (Northern), commented, "Port Vale is a historic and enduring club with a truly devout following, which continues to win the hearts of local people.  When the opportunity arose to sponsor the club, we were absolutely delighted to take it, and play a part in the club's future successes and become a part of Stoke's lively sporting culture."
