Countryside Properties has been named 'Housebuilder of the Year', the main award at the prestigious What House? Awards 2005.
Countryside Properties was also awarded the coveted 'Best Volume Housebuilder' prize and received a special mention in the ‘Best Luxury Development’ award for its exceptional Essex development, Harvard Grange, where Fitzwilliam House also won silver in the 'Best Luxury House' category.
'Housebuilder of the Year' is renowned as the most sought after award in British housebuilding. It is awarded to the company which, in the opinion of the judges, has done the most to help people purchase top quality homes within the past year.
While focussing on the quality and design of the houses, all aspects of the housebuilder's performance are assessed, from site and show house presentation to the standard of after sales service and overall customer care.
The What House judging panel comments: "This is a company that radiates quality in everything it does, from design and specification to customer care and marketing. Countryside Properties is going from strength to strength - it's a consistently impressive outfit in all departments; a truly rounded company and a worthy winner.”

These four awards are the latest in a series of accolades awarded to Countryside Properties over the past year, bringing their total number of awards in 2005 to 25, including ‘Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year’ at the 2005 Building Sustainability Awards.
