19 July 2000

As part of their commitment to building on brownfield sites, Countryside Residential (South West) Ltd. is giving a new lease of life to part of Bristol's former city docks with The Custom House, an exciting new development of 35 two and three bedroom apartments in Redcliff Backs, Bristol which will launch on 1st June.

The Custom House is being built on the site of a former nine-storey grain warehouse, which has been derelict for years and more recently has been used as a rough ground car park. The development will play an important part in the regeneration of the historic city docks, contributing to the success of an already vibrant city.

Richard Rawson, Sales and Marketing Director for Countryside Residential (South West) Ltd. comments, "We see this development as an opportunity to regenerate an area which historically was of great importance to Bristol. The development will complete the harbour side walkway, opening up the dockside to the public for the first time in many years."

The Custom House is ideally located for Bristol city centre. All of the apartments will have waterside views, balconies and underground parking.

The apartments at The Custom House will be released for sale priced in the region of £225,000 to £500,000. To register your interest now please contact Countryside Residential on: 01454 202 208.
