AXIS AT ST MARY'S ISLAND - A LOCAL FAVOURITE!
Axis, the latest development of new homes by Countryside Properties on the popular St Mary's Island attracted record numbers of potential buyers at its sales launch last week.
A joint project between Countryside Properties and the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), Axis will provide 62 two, three and four bedroom homes, next to the doctor's surgery, pharmacy and other amenities, which have been built in response to increasing housing demand on the Island.
The successful sales launch brought in over 200 potential buyers which resulted in eight reservations on the day. A majority of those who attended the launch were local to St Mary's Island. Countryside Properties has created a huge demand for attractive housing on the Island and were very pleased with the response.
Chris Crook, Managing Director of Countryside Properties, commented, "The lifestyle on offer at St Mary's Island has proved tremendously popular, as demonstrated by the success of our three other developments here. We are very pleased by the response to the launch of Axis, and in particular the huge interest from existing Island residents."
The new development cleverly combines traditional Kentish architecture with a contemporary twist. Exteriors of the homes successfully unite a modern and traditional look with the use of crisp cedar wood boarding and buff coloured brick. Interiors boast spacious living areas filled with natural light and high specification finishes.
Chris Crook added: "Axis is obviously a popular local choice and it will not be long before others are attracted to the development. With eight properties snapped up on the first day it is expected that the remaining homes will soon be sold."
St Mary's Island is Britain's only planned island community and forms part of the Chatham Maritime regeneration project in Kent. Nine hundred homes have already been built on the Island and Axis is the latest one of Countryside Properties' already popular schemes; Ventura, The Fishing Village and Northshore.
Axis features a range of 2 and 3 bedroom terrace and semi-detached homes and 3 and 4 detached homes.
