Golf is a prominent leisure pursuit for many people that is becoming increasingly popular with the arrival of long summer days that allow more time to be spent on the fairway. However, it is not just the game, but rather the whole atmosphere that most passionate golfers aspire towards, with thoughts of living close enough to the club and not have to travel long distances to indulge their passion for the game.
In response, Countryside Properties is offering a week day golf membership at the stunning PGA golf course at Kings Hill in West Malling, Kent, to purchasers of its Georgian style three bedroom townhouses and five bedroom detached houses built adjacent to the course at 'Queen Charlotte's Place'.
Phil Baxter, Managing Director of Countryside Properties' South Thames division, comments, "In creating these new homes so close to the golf club we are offering purchasers the opportunity to live in a spectacular environment, where golfers, non-golfers, and residents can all enjoy the wide open spaces of the countryside and golf course. The golf membership will not only provide residents access to the fairways, but is an excellent opportunity for people to meet other residents which in turn will contribute towards enhancing the already established community at Kings Hill."
The luxurious new homes enjoy a setting that includes a sweeping landscape extending across protected heath, parkland and mature woodland. The golf course adjoins a full length driving range with a short game practice area and putting green, and a pavilion-style clubhouse which currently provides meeting rooms, a bar and a restaurant.

Time-honoured materials are being used throughout each home, including stock brickwork, render and stone detailing, while the properties have been designed to incorporate elegant details such as porticoes, railings, 'Juliet' balconies and sash windows. Hard landscaped areas incorporate granite setts, block paving and traditional railings.
The area of Kings Hill includes 1,850 homes, a number of open spaces and play areas, with footpaths, bridleways and cycle paths linking the residential area to a new commercial community. Amenities include a large supermarket, garden centres, The Kings Hill Institute (part of the University of Greenwich), Kings Hill Nursery and Kings Hill Primary School. The development also includes a public house and a community hall, and there are plans for a hotel and a medical centre to be created in the near future.
Located on the site of a former airfield which was used during the Battle of Britain, Kings Hill lies on the outskirts of the historic town of West Malling, close to the M20 which provides direct access to the M25. A shuttle bus service operates between Kings Hill and West Malling mainline railway station, which has direct links to London Victoria, London Blackfriars and London Bridge (journey times vary from approximately 40 to 60 minutes).
Countryside Properties' new homes at Queen Charlotte's Place are available for sale, with prices ranging from £299,950 to £625,000. The marketing suite is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
