£10m Estate Regeneration Programme

The programme is being undertaken by Countryside's subsidiary Countryside in Partnership PLC and will involve both the refurbishment of 118 existing flats and the development of 46 new units comprising of flats, houses and maisonettes for rent. All homes are being built and refurbished with security and energy efficiency in mind. The scheme also includes extensive environmental improvements and will be complete in July 2001. The contract forms part of a larger regeneration programme worth in excess of £44m.
