In October 2008 Countryside Properties were granted outline planning permission, subject to finalising the S106 Agreement, for up to 300 mixed tenure residential dwellings and all associated landscaping, open spaces, infrastructure and access works. This development will form an important new ‘gateway’ into the city of Cambridge, with a landmark building on the junction of Hauxton Road and the new Addenbrooke’s Access Road.
The application had been submitted to the Council in March 2008, and amendments were made in August 2008. All application documentation can be viewed below; simply click on the title of the document you wish to view.
Following the work done on the outline application a detailed planning application has now been submitted to Cambridge City Council for 286 dwellings. All the submitted documentation can be viewed by clicking on 'December 2009' below. The documentation and drawings provide details on matters such as the design and layout of each dwelling, the layout of the development, access arrangements, pedestrian and cycle paths, open spaces, allotments and landscaping as well as technical details on matters such as drainage and ecology.
Further amendments were made to the 2009 application following consultation with stakeholders. The amendments can be seen by clicking "March 2010" below.
