Radius, Prestwich, Manchester
Radius is a contemporary mixed-use development comprising 150 one bedroom and two bedroom apartments and 28,000 sq. ft. of retail space including bars and restaurants.

Situated on a redundant site, Radius has played an integral role in the regeneration of Prestwich centre, bringing new residents to the area, as well as commercial space to add to the area's vibrant retail and leisure attractions. The unique open mezzanine area will also provide a key focal point for residents.
Striking exterior elevations comprise brickwork, coloured render, cedar, zinc and metal composite cladding. Balconies feature glass and steel balustrades with timber decking. Double height glazing to a selection of apartments, and distinctive butterfly roofs set the development apart in its pleasant, leafy surrounds.
The three buildings are designed around an unusual centralised, first floor piazza. This provides central access for each building and a relaxing refuge for residents. Granite paving, timber decking, seasonal planting and a cascade water feature combine to create a therapeutic oasis during the warmer months.

Designed by celebrated British fashion designer Ben De Lisi, apartment interiors are elegant and are complemented by their open plan layout.
Radius retail provides attractive new retail, bar and restaurant units with double height frontage adjacent to the Longfield Shopping Centre, new Marks and Spencer food store and Prestwich Metrolink Station. It is split into 9 units ranging from 1,005 sq ft to 12,449 sq ft and tenants include J Sainsbury's, Barracuda and Prestwich Pharmacy. The entire commercial investment has been sold to a private investor.
