Strategic objective Action / Targets Progress 2005/2006 & future actions
To promote and build sustainable communities. Monitor performance against Customer Care Charter. During the reporting period, in-house research revealed that 84% (2005: 81%) of purchasers were satisfied with the overall service provided by the Group after a month of occupation.  A commendable 80% (77% in 2005) of our customers agreed that they would recommend Countryside Properties to a friend.
Introduce Considerate Constructors Scheme [CCS] and maintain average scores. All our sites are registered to CCS. Audit scores are 6% (9% in 2005) above Industry averages; we aim to maintain this standard.
Encourage charitable giving. We continue to support a number of charities as well as environmental initiatives and in 2006 donated £47,649 (2005 - £86,525) including "time in kind" giving.
Pilot Quality of Life toolkit at Strategic schemes. Objective is to be omitted for 2006 /07 reporting period. As this research has been fully integrated into out working practices, this objective is to be omitted for 2006 /07 reporting period.
