Countryside Properties is currently undertaking this £65m regeneration scheme working in partnership with Stonebridge Housing Action Trust (HAT) and Hyde Housing Group to renew the Stonebridge Estate in Harlesden, London. The redevelopment will include the provision of 552 new homes for rent.
The first two phases of the regeneration are complete with 233 new homes built in a traditional urban pattern. Over 140 of these homes were built using timber frame construction. Currently we are building 319 new homes, five shops and an office over two separate phases.
Countryside's two Resident Liaison Officers play a fundamental role in ensuring that support is given to the residents before, during and after the works are completed and offering advice about the wide range of interior fitting options and choices available.

Removing barriers and widening participation in employment schemes was a fundamental part of the regeneration programme and as a result 18 residents were employed through the Local Labour in Construction scheme during the first two phases. There are currently 49 local residents working on site, of which 6 are adult trainees working towards NVQ qualifications.
Countryside Properties supports a number of local initiatives including the Annual Youth Forum Event and also the local community radio station, LIFE FM. This offers local residents of Stonebridge an opportunity to have their say over the airwaves and provides valuable training in media and communications for residents.
