The Grahame Park Estate in Colindale, North West London is currently a deprived and depressed area with high levels of social exclusion. We were recently selected by the Local Authority and its Housing Association partners as the preferred developer to transform the area by providing 3,000 new mixed tenure homes.
The new homes will be for sale and rent, with 35% of the homes being affordable housing and 65% of the homes available for private sale. This will bring about a significant change in this one time 100% Council housing estate. 
At Grahame Park the housing for sale will be developed through a partnership and the cross subsidy used to finance the affordable homes.
New shops, community facilities and parks will also be created as part of the masterplan. Employment and training opportunities will be an important part of the £450m regeneration of Grahame Park.
We've been fully involved with resident consultation and events to bring a strong sense of understanding and inclusiveness to the process.
The Group is working with Choices for Grahame Park (CfGP), a partnership between Genesis Housing Group and Notting Hill Housing Group, in conjunction with Barnet Council and estate residents.
A radical rebuilding programme will transform Grahame Park. The estate will be reorientated, connecting it with the surrounding area and integrating homes and services with complementary developments in the locality. Grahame Park is being remodelled with new community and retail facilities, whilst retaining approximately 25% of the existing homes that were built in a more traditional layout.
Countryside Properties began work on site in early 2006, building new homes, ranging from one bedroom apartments to four bedroom houses. The first residents moved into their new homes in 2007.
We are providing a sales and marketing consultancy service to CfGP, in which, for an agreed fee the new homes are marketed and sold under the Countryside Properties brand.
