Springhead Park, Ebbsfleet Valley, Kent

In a joint venture with Land Securities, Countryside Properties is developing the first phase of Ebbsfleet Valley at Springhead Park in North Kent.

Springhead

The partners are striving to create a vibrant and exciting new community with a total of over 600 contemporary style new homes from one and two bedroom apartments to two, three and four bedroom homes. 25% of the homes will be available through housing associations as affordable homes. Facilities include a two and a half acre formal park, community centre, place of worship, a doctor’s surgery, primary school and 15 acres of informal parkland.

Springhead Park is located in the heart of the regeneration of Kent Thameside just a ten minute walk from the new International and Domestic station, Ebbsfleet International, which is now receiving Eurostar trains for international services. Domestic services are due to begin in late 2009 and this will bring Central London within a 17 minute journey time.

The first properties at Springhead Park were occupied in Summer 2008.

“At Land Securities our vision is 'bringing property to life' through good design, community engagement and customer service. We chose Countryside Properties as our development partner for the first phase of Ebbsfleet Valley at Springhead Park because they understand these key principles and in particular how good design and place making adds value. We have also enjoyed an excellent relationship with them forged in delivering the award winning Waterstone Park development in Greenhithe. Countryside has exceptional skills and experience and is a very good partner to work with.”
