Through our Training Academy we invest heavily in the training and development of our people to help them realise their full potential.
Training to Succeed provides a highly comprehensive programme of training for both site and office based staff. These range from 'soft' skills through to industry specific courses. We review the courses regularly to ensure that they are highly focussed and tailored to enhance the technical, leadership and personal development offer. Additional specialist courses are also available to meet individual training needs.
A separate Health and Safety programme is also available to meet the needs of both site and office based staff and sub-contractors.
Pursuing further qualifications
All of our people are encouraged to undertake relevant and appropriate training and if eager to pursue further qualifications, you will find Countryside Properties' very supportive. Sponsorship is available on a number of external courses including Masters and HNC's in various industry related subjects.
Personal Development Reviews
Personal Development Reviews (PDRs) are undertaken on, at least, an annual basis. They provide the framework for recognising achievements and objectives for the future, as well as training requirements. We have recently introduced the use of core competencies to further improve the effectiveness of PDRs and employee skill sets. This annual review process helps our people realise their full potential and enjoy a successful career within the Group.
We recognise the importance of supporting our employees and offer help to manage difficulties arising from home, or from work. Complementary to the existing support systems, independent confidential counselling, advice and information are available to all staff.
